The SST-PB3-CLX is a high-performance Profibus DP communication gateway developed by SST (a brand historically associated with Hilscher and later acquired by Woodhead/ABB, now part of Molex). It enables Rockwell Automation ControlLogix and CompactLogix programmable automation controllers (PACs) to communicate directly with Profibus DP field devices—such as remote I/O blocks, variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor starters, and valve terminals—commonly found in European or legacy industrial installations.
